Was from Buffalo, New York Born on September 24, 1935, born in Ceiba, Puerto Rico, Maria's life was a shining example of determination and love. As a young woman, she washed clothes in the river to support her family, demonstrating a work ethic that would inspire her children and grandchildren. Maria's devotion to her family was unwavering, as she married young and dedicated herself to raising five beautiful children. Her selflessness extended to helping her brother Domingo raise his boys, who cherished her love and guidance. Maria's passions were a source of joy, as she worked in sewing factories, showcasing her exceptional seamstress skills. Her cooking and gardening talents were a wonder to behold, and her love for her family only grew stronger with time. In her later years, Maria's influence on her grandchildren was immeasurable, as they adored her as an incredible grandmother. Her life's final chapter was a beautiful love story, as she met Grandpa Jerry, who loved and cared for her, filling her heart with joy. Relatives and Friends may visit The Colonial Memorial Chapels 3003 South Park Ave. Lackawanna on Monday from 2-9pm and where the Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 1pm.
