Relatives and Friends may visit The Colonial Memorial Chapels 3003 South Park Ave. Lackawanna on Sunday September 14th from 4-7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday September 15th at Queen of Angels Church 144 Warsaw St. Lackawanna at 10am. Karl Taltos was the beloved husband of Angeline (nee Evanovich) loving father of Sandra (Jerome Jr) Piwko and Robert Taltos. He was the best friend of his two granddaughters, Emma and Anna Piwko. Karl was a passionate and adventurous soul, finding joy in skydiving, motorcycle riding and spending time outside. He served in Vietnam as a combat medic, earning a bronze star in infantry and a combat medical badge. While retired, Karl spent time training his dear cat; Munchkin, playing pool with his friends, and making numerous failed attempts to beat his grandchildren at Word Hunt. Karl will be deeply missed for the loving, kindhearted man that he was. In lieu of flowers, please consider making contributions to the Cholangiocarcinoma foundation or Roswell Park.
