Of Lackawanna, entered into rest June 29, 2026 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of 60 years to Elek "Lee" A. Kovacs; devoted mother of Renee Hund, David Kovacs (Joelle Roof); Cherished grandmother of David Kovacs, Dylan Hund (Danielle Knight) and David Andrzejewski; cherished great-grandmother of Mila Knight and Dylan Hund; loving daughter of the late James and Jane (nee Tighe) Charleton. Cherished sister of Barbara (late James) Enright, late Diane (late Richard) Kessler, James (late Mary Eileen) Charleton; dear sister in law of the the late Theresa (late Ronald) Gospodarski and Judith (Donald) Klosin; also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Relatives and friends may visit The Colonial Memorial Chapels, 3003 South Park Ave., Lackawanna on Monday (7/6) from 3:00 - 7:00 PM where prayers will be held on Tuesday (7/7) morning at 9:00 o'clock. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sacred Heart at 10:00 o'clock. Interment Lakeside Cemetery.
