Djuro "DJ" Stegic

Of Amherst, March 28, 2026. Beloved husband of Dusanka (nee Dragovic) Stegic; devoted father of Philip Stegic; loving son of Mara and the late Bozidar Stegic; dear brother of Darko Stegic; also survived by relatives and friends.Relatives and friends may visit the Colonial Memorial Chapels, 3003 South Park Ave., Lackawanna on Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Stephen's Orthodox Church, 177 Weber Rd., Lackawanna, NY on Saturday morning at 11:00 o'clock (please assemble at church). Interment Lakeside Cemetery.

Dj loved to cook BBQ for his friends and family. He loved all sports, especially soccer and football. Going to sporting events and fishing with his son Philip and wife Dee, was something he loved to do in his free time. Another big passion of his was traveling at home or abroad.

Dj was honest and hardworking, always ready to help others. He had a great sense of humor and a positive outlook on life. Also, he had great ability to lift people's spirits when they are down.

He was a long-time employee of Safespan Platform Systems, Inc. as a project manager and was proud of it.
